Celebrating the life and legacy of the pioneering conservationist

The inaugural John Muir Festival – a signature Homecoming Scotland event marked the opening of the John Muir Way as well as celebrating Muir’s life and legacy. (NEEDS COMBINING SENTENCES) Celebrating the achievements and vision of the man who motivated the creation of the National Parks, for wider the enjoyment and appreciation of the beauty of our landscapes and natural environment. The Festival included community participation, artist-led events and large-scale public performances.
