Glow Wild 2020-2021:Herons

AndNow’s seventh year at Wakehurst Place.

This year’s installation for Glow Wild was set in and around the Mansion Pond. Three herons inhabited the water, a constellation of stars and fires floating around them, the banks of the pond were picked out in myriad points of fire framing and creating ever changing fiery reflections on the water’s surface.

We were very pleased to be able to work safely with Wakehurst Place to make and run this piece in accordance with the Covid 19 tier system. It provided a much valued and needed opportunity for people to step outside and visit the gardens, walk out on a winter’s night and enjoy the beautiful installations curated by the Wakehurst Place team for Glow Wild…
